If you love to use your exceptional planning and writing skills to generate new business and build brand recognition for a growing credit union, this may be the right job for youJob Location: Clinton TownshipDays: Monday Thru Friday w/Occasional SaturdaysSalary: $17-$18/hour (Up to a 5% annual incentive)Benefits:3 weeks PTO available in the first year401k with up to a 6% matchUp to a 5% year-end bonusPosition Purpose:The primary purpose of the Marketing Coordinator is to assist FreeStar Financial Credit Union in fulfilling our mission by facilitating marketing, business development, and community relations for the credit union. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to coordinate events, mailings, and other marketing functions. Excellent written and oral communication, as well as the ability to represent the credit union at outside events are requirements of this position. What You'll Do In This Role:Creates promotional content for marketing materials such as direct mail letters, postcards, posters, and other marketing materials to communicate the features and benefits of the products and services offered.Composes member correspondence as necessary (thank you letters, member complaint follow-up letters, etc.)Works with marketing team to implement branch promotions to include lobby signage, buck slips, contests, and other creative activities to cross-sell products and services.Ensures all marketing materials are aligned with FreeStar Financial brand identity.Manages ongoing, recurring Marketing communication such as loan surveys, new member correspondence, and promotional communicationMaintains a working knowledge of the email marketing platforms and other programs used in the Marketing department to create professional content and messaging In coordination with the marketing team, creates content calendars and communication plans for marketing campaign. Attends various meetings and/or events in the community and/or at trade associations to represent the credit union brand, possible evening and weekend events as required.Collects data surrounding demographics, analyzing market trendsMaintains and develops content for social media sites.Attends onsite new membership drives.Participates in monthly messaging meetings, becoming the champion of select products and service promotions.What You'll Bring To FreeStar Financial:High School Diploma or equivalent.Strong writing skills.
