The Customer Service & Quality Control Manager will be an experienced and highly skilled professional to lead a team of Field Quality Control Representatives. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the quality assurance processes for exterior construction projects, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving continuous improvement within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Establish and maintain a customer-focused approach throughout the quality control process.
  • Ensure that customer concerns and complaints are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any escalated issues
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of skilled Field Quality Control Representatives.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure consistent quality standards.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer-centric mindset within the team.
Quality Assurance Oversight:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality control policies, procedures, and best practices for exterior construction projects.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the effectiveness of quality control measures.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance quality standards.
Project Management and Coordination:
  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of quality control processes.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, allocate resources, and oversee the timely completion of quality control tasks.
  • Participate in project planning meetings and provide insights to mitigate potential quality risks
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Implement standardized documentation and reporting procedures for quality control activities.
  • Review and analyze quality control reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

Qualifications:

•Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus

•Bachelor's degree in construction management, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, inspections, or construction management, with a focus on exterior construction projects and customer service

•Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

•In-depth knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and best practices related to exterior construction.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues.

•Proficiency in using relevant software and technologies for documentation, reporting, and project management.

•Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.

•Previous OSHA training encouraged, all employees will maintain OSHA certifications

•Must have experience in construction industry with field work

•Ability to do small repairs

Salary Description
