DFC seeks an experienced Data Analyst to help advance the goals of the Enterprise Mail Management Program Office at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This position focuses on completing a variety of data tasks, including the development of data analytical tools, data processing, cleansing, and visualizing. Candidates must feel comfortable in a client phasing role and supporting the team as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement modern analytics solutions, including statistical analysis, data management, and visualization tools to drive data-informed decision making and enhance operational effectiveness. Utilize tools such as MS Access and Power BI to create dynamic data reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Collaborate with data team to review findings and recommend strategies. Engage in continuous learning and application of advanced data techniques to support evolving project needs. Review and present results from analysis efforts to non-technical stakeholders. Maintain documentation of key decisions and discussions (to include meeting minutes when appropriate) Provide viable reference material for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, Maintain client confidence and protect operations by maintaining information confidentiality, Be responsible for understanding large data sets and managing data techniques in support of emerging initiatives and projects.

Qualifications For Success

Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis or data architecture. Strong interpersonal skills with a capacity to work collaboratively and independently. Ability to lead and facilitate client meetings, conference calls, and capture accurate meeting notes. Excellent problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Strong analytical skills, presentation development and writing skills. Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel. A commitment to delivering high-quality work and upholding client service excellence. Prior experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs is advantageous.

Other Important Information

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, science, operational research, or a related field is required. Ability to obtain a US government security clearance, if needed, is required.
