DFC is seeking a healthcare data analyst to join a large healthcare-related business operations support contract. The team is seeking a driven individual with excellent critical thinking skills and high attention to detail who has a desire to work on complex data tasks, enjoys working in a fast-paced and regularly changing environment, and can effectively manage competing priorities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is seeking to grow their consulting career.
What the role requires:
- Manipulating and analyzing data using SQL, Snowflake, SAS, or Python.
- Engaging directly with clients to understand their needs and providing guidance on appropriate analytical techniques to address research questions.
- Creating and managing timelines for data analysis and reporting deliverables.
- Writing reports to communicate findings from analysis to non-technical audiences.
- Developing and delivering presentations and executive briefings on findings internally and to clients.
- Providing operational support in a variety of capacities, including data integrity, quality assurance, monitoring, and reporting.
- Leading and supporting efforts to develop processes for data quality assurance and reporting.
- Providing viable reference material for users by writing and maintaining user documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Maintaining client confidence and protecting operations by maintaining information confidentiality.
What you need to be successful:
- 2-4 years relevant work experience.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Strong analytical, data visualization, presentation development, and writing skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
- Ability to work independently and develop client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to client service excellence.
- Federal government experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of databases and programming languages such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python.
- Working knowledge of visualization software PowerBi, Tableau, or MicroStrategy.
Other important information:
- A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in math, finance, statistics, or a related field.
- Experience in healthcare or Medicare is strongly encouraged.
- Ability to obtain a US government security clearance, if needed, is required.

- Preference will be given to qualified Veteran candidates.
