Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Lead Electrical Engineer on hydropower, hydraulic structure, and renewable energy projects.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including peer engineering and BIM+ technical staff in global regional design centers and the local office.
  • Develop electrical drawing deliverables, such as single line diagrams, schematics, interconnection diagrams, and equipment layouts.
  • Create electrical equipment specifications and Bills of Materials for procurement and construction.
  • Attend on-site meetings, investigate existing conditions, and provide support during construction.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office business systems like ProjectWise, electrical engineering software such as ETAP, and Computer Aided Drafting Tools like AutoCAD to view and manipulate engineering drawing files.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Detailed electrical design engineering experience with five or more industrial or electric utility clients.
  • Experience with hydraulic structures, hydropower, or related industrial infrastructure projects, or within power generation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with power system analysis software (SKM, ETAP, Easy Power).
  • Experience or interest in on-site assessments and construction inspections.
  • Strong client-facing and proactive communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Skills in written communications, driving for results, priority setting, planning, delegation, directing others, conflict management, informing, listening, dealing with ambiguity, and building effective teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to the assigned engineering discipline.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
  • Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
