Overview:

The PSMI Department aids PMA260 by serving as the principal authority for the Naval Aviation Support Equipment (SE) Program and the Department of Defense (DoD) Automatic Test System (ATS) leadership. It provides PMA260 with acquisition and in-service logistics support services, offering Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program management and logistics support throughout the acquisition and sustainment life cycle of the designated weapon system/system of systems, including its subsystems and support equipment.

Job Summary:

This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Program Office's Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APMLs)/Deputies and Logistics Element Managers (LEMs) across all Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements. The role demands engagement with subject matter experts (SMEs) for various organizational needs, covering a broad spectrum of logistics areas including Individual Material Readiness List, Support Equipment (SE), Propulsion and Power, Technical Data, and more.

Education and Experience:

3 to 10 years' FTE experience in operational logistics support or maintenance engineering. Three (3) years' experience in technical analysis of operational IPS requirements. Three (3) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning. Experience demonstrating ability to perform IPS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DOD weapons systems/equipment.

BS or BA Degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management

Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described

OR f our (4) years additional work experience performing duties described can be substituted for the BA/BS degree

Essential Duties:

Assisting in the development, operation, evaluation, and enhancement of weapon systems supportability and maintainability programs and information systems.

Engaging in logistics and maintainability programs, collaborating with logistics and maintenance control organizations on a wide range of tasks. These include technical evaluations, identifying logistics requirements, developing support and maintainability programs, and analyzing system acquisition requirements.

Performing budgetary, financial, and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis and control to ensure the efficient allocation of resources.

Working on hardware (HW) and software (SW) standardization and compatibility for weapon systems to maintain interoperability.

Planning and executing testing and evaluation (T&E) for IPS/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) programs, along with program management analysis to ensure strategic alignment and operational efficiency.

Collecting, compiling, analyzing, investigating, and applying logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information to inform decision-making and support operational goals.

Developing, modifying, preparing, or validating documentation related to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems and management information systems, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of logistic data.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

Working knowledge of DoD / NAVAIR processes and procedures. (Desired)

Working knowledge of NAVAIR Logistics Tools

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal, written, and electronic formats.
