Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality assurance, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing processes. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

Perform root cause analysis for non-conforming products and implement preventative measures to minimize future defects.

Process Improvement:

Utilize statistical analysis and data-driven methodologies to identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.

Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Implement Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies to streamline production processes and eliminate variability.

Drive a culture of quality excellence by promoting best practices and providing training to production personnel.

Supplier Quality Management:

Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on their quality management systems, capabilities, and performance.

Establish quality agreements and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of quality-related data, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.

Prepare comprehensive quality metrics and reports for management review, highlighting trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards through proper documentation and reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functional teams.

Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a plus.
