Other Duties and Responsibilities : Demonstrate a positive attitude toward working with the public Take initiative to provide a clean attractive environment Perform all other duties as assigned Education/Experience : High School diploma required. One year of custodial work or related field, preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Must be able to work independently without supervision Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques Preferred knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment/machinery and appliances; floor buffers and scrubbers (will train) Must be knowledgeable of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components Ability to present self in a highly professional manner with a variety of offices and professional situations, by maintaining a positive and respectful attitude, while working independently and in a team environment Working Environment/Physical Requirements : May need to be able to work in extreme heat and cold for mowing and snow removal Must be able to push, pull, carry, or lift heavy items regularly; up to 60 lbs Position will require some strenuous activity; must be able to walk, stoop, bend, lift and be on your feet all day Employee Behavior and Conduct : County employees shall conduct themselves in a professional manner.
