As the CNC Operator you would be responsible for setting up and operating Mills or Lathes, and working from prints to obtain accurate specifications in dimensions and tolerances.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Setup and operation of CNC Mills or Lathes, as well as operation of other shop equipment.
  • Able to use all shop measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, and other gages).
  • Able to make offsets and adjustments to CNC Mills and Lathes.
  • Able to work from blueprints, sketches, or models.
  • Perform program edits as needed.
  • Tool changes.
  • Working on Brother and Haas 3-axis Mills, Mori Seiki and Doosan 2-axis Lathes, and Brown and Sharpe Screw Machines.
  • Manufacturing parts from copper, brass, stainless steel, steel, aluminum, plastics, and other materials.
Pay and Shift info
  • Starting pay range of $18 - $28/hour, based on experience
  • 1st shift 7am – 4pm, Monday thru Thursday and 7am – 11am on Friday.
  • Temp to Hire opportunity with the company.

Skills/Qualifications
  • 3 years experience with CNC Mills or Lathes.
  • Ability to use measuring gages and read blueprints.
  • Must have good attention to detail.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Will be subject to a 10-panel drug screen and other pre-employment screening.
