Job Summary and QualificationsThe CT Technologistperforms routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application ofthe ionizingradiationin accordance withthe established professional and departmental standards.The CT Techprovideshigh-qualitycomputerized tomography images ofthe used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
What you will do in this role:
- You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
- You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
- You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
- You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
- You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
- You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Whatqualificationsyouwillneed:
- Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology.
- Should adhere to ARRT guidelines of obtaining 24 continuing education credits every two years.
- ARRT-CT certification or registry-eligible required within 6 months of hire.
- Must hold a current license with the Kansas board of healing arts.
- BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
