Job Description
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the smooth and profitable operation of the companys human resources department. The coordinator supervises and provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, budgeting, and labor relations. The coordinator is expected to take an active leadership role in developing the culture that Amazing Grace Homecare strives to promote; thus, enabling employees to perform in accordance with the companys Values, Mission, and objectives.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.

Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

Completes, verifies, and maintains personnel records in accordance with Company policies and applicable State and Federal laws including verification of I9 documentation and applicable licenses.

Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.

Assist and handle with processing of terminations.

Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.

Handle recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.

Files documents into appropriate employee files.

Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.

Create and manage retention programs.

Prepares new-employee files.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.

At least two years related experience required.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
