About North Park Vision Center
This well-established practice has served the Westminster communities for over 30 years, providing a total eye care experience in a warm, family atmosphere. Located on the Front Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, the business is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Denver and 20 minutes from Boulder. The team of Optometrists specializes in medical eye care, specialty contact lenses, vision therapy, and eye care for all ages ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. To maintain its legacy of offering high-quality eye care, the business is looking to add an Optometrist to the team of eight professionals.
Ensuring a lifetime of clear vision is essential, and the practice utilizes advanced, state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and eye care products. The clinic is well-appointed with diagnostic technology, including Humphry Visual Field, Zeiss Clarus, Wide Field fundus camera, Optovue Avanti OCT, Lumenis Optilight, Antares Topographer, Meibography, Pupillography, Video Keratascope, and MPod. In addition, patients enjoy visiting the beautiful optical boutique and receiving personalized eyeglass fittings from expert Opticians who provide options to suit patients‘ vision needs and fashion preferences.
About the Optometrist Position
North Park Vision Center is seeking an Optometrist passionate about serving patients with the highest level of individualized vision care. You‘ll work 16 to 24 hours weekly, providing comprehensive care and contact lens fittings, handling eye emergencies, meeting with industry partners, and serving as a guide for staff and optometry students. On average, 15 to 20 patients are cared for daily-visual analysis is 30 minutes, scleral lens fittings are one hour, and emergency follow-ups and contact lens checks are 10 to 20 minutes. The practice accommodates patients‘ needs and will open early and stay late to ensure every patient is cared for.
The practice is looking for a professional with excellent patient and staff communication skills. Exceptional integrity, honesty, reliability, and ability to provide high-quality vision care are skills required for this role. If you‘re hard-working and always go above and beyond to support patients and the practice, you‘ll fit right in at North Park Vision Center. You‘ll also have the opportunity to discuss a future practice partnership or ownership.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, excellent patient communication skills, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. In addition, the ideal candidate will have an excellent clinical skillset, a desire for continued learning, the ability to grasp new technologies efficiently, and a passion for helping those in need.
Minimum qualifications:
- Optometry license in the state of Colorado
Preferred qualifications:
- Specialty contact lenses
- Behavioral vision care is welcome
