Credit Administrative Clerk
Position Summary:
This position reports to the Credit Officer and is responsible for verifying previously
scanned documents and adding them into our image system. Responsibilities also include
entering various financial information about new loans into reports, as well as serving as
primary greeter for all departments on the floor and serve as telephone operator for the
department. Special projects will vary from time to time.
Essential Functions:
- Must have strong interpersonal skills with ability to handle multiple tasks for the Credit and Loan departments.
- Learn and use various banking software programs, as well as most Microsoft Office programs.
- Verify customer financial statement information has been correctly entered into the bank's management information systems.
- Assist Credit Officer and Credit Administration Coordinator with filling out financial checklists and determining tracking requirements.
- Assist with maintaining current information in loan system(s) as needed.
- Assist other departments in the Operations Center with scanning various documentation.
- Responsible for ordering all department supplies.
- Schedule use of 2nd floor conference room.
- Greet visitors to the 2nd floor of the Operations Center.
- Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
- Receive and distribute mail and packages to the employees on the 2nd floor of the Operations Center.
- Make copies of correspondence and other printed material as well as assist with scanning documentation.
- Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheets, word processing, database management, and other applications.
- Various other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:
The work for this position is conducted in a back office of our bank and the requirement for travel is limited to travel for training and meetings. This position could require working extended hours, depending on workload.

Must be able to sit at the computer and do data entry and look at the screen for extended periods of time with minimal breaks.
Experience and Education:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); Over 1 year, up to and including 2 years of loan document experience preferred.
