What you'll be working on...
  • Accurately reading and recording of consumption
  • Installing residential metering equipment
  • Conducting interior & exterior leak investigations to determine appropriate action
  • Turning residential gas service on and off
  • Performing periodic meter changes
  • Maintaining knowledge and understanding of customer needs, concerns and expectations
  • Reporting unusual circumstances in the field
  • Conducting high and low bill investigations
  • Understanding PSC policies on termination of service and theft of service
  • Recognizing potentially hazardous situations
  • Maintaining company vehicle, tools and equipment
  • Participating in an on-call standby rotation for emergency response
