Coordinates the work of internal maintenance staff or external contractors charged with the maintenance and repair of company property.
Highlights of your role- Takes requests for maintenance from employees, tenants, customers, or other visitors, and creates work orders.
- Triages requests and schedules maintenance, expediting emergency repairs.
- Identifies and selects external contracts or vendors, and may negotiate contracts.
- Ensures that repairs are completed in accordance with internal policies and service agreements.
- Ability to perform work under minimal supervision
- Handle complex issues and problems, and refer only the most complex issues to higher level staff
- Comprehensive knowledge of subject matter
- Ability to provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group
- Ability to act as a lead or first-level supervisor
Schedule:
7:30am - 3:30pm, and any required overtime
