Position Summary:

As the IT Director, you will spearhead the strategic utilization of technological resources within our rapidly expanding dental laboratory. Your primary focus will be to ensure the efficient, profitable, and secure use of technology while driving innovation and overseeing daily technology operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to establish and execute ROE's technology vision and drive technological innovation. Develop and implement a technical strategy roadmap aligned with company objectives to facilitate sustained growth. Lead the development and deployment of new technologies and equipment, setting clear timelines and objectives. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation while ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations. Evaluate and implement new systems and infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. Gather stakeholder feedback to inform technology improvements and adjustments. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and IT budgets to evaluate technological performance. Lead a proficient team comprising IT specialists and data analysts.

Qualifications:

Proven executive-level leadership experience, with a minimum of 10 years overall and at least 5 years in a technical leadership role. Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Demonstrated success in senior R&D management, with a track record of translating R&D results into profitable strategies. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills. Ability to influence team members outside your sphere of control to accomplish company objectives. Proficient in vendor management, negotiation, and contract renewal processes. Hands-on experience with database management, Azure cloud services, virtualization technologies, network systems, end-user devices, and telephony systems. Strong business acumen with ability to balance project costs with system requirements. Openness to embrace specialized dental technologies and readiness to oversee their installation, upgrades, and security measures. Demonstrated project management skillset. Experience managing both on-shore and off-shore contract resources. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
