Overview
As Cirkuls Lead Data Scientist, youll be tackling challenges across loyalty, retention, customer acquisition, channel attribution and omnichannel presence. You will perform statistical analyses, run incrementality tests, model attribution, conduct causal impact analyses, and fit marketing-mix models.You will report to the VP Data and will work closely with the Growth and Retail teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data across the entirety of the customer journey and provide actionable insights.
- Build data-driven solutions, apply feature engineering, train and optimize classifiers and prediction models.
- Design and lead implementation of analytics pipelines and visualizations.
- Recommend and test new analytics algorithms and models.
- Collaborate with Growth and Retail teams to drive data-driven decision-making.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist with at least 4 years in a DTC environment.
- Clear understanding of prediction models, marketing channel mix, attribution, user behavior, website performance, etc.
- Proficient in statistical analysis including regressions, incrementality tests, experiments such as causal impact analysis, and marketing-mix models.
- BS/MS in Data Science or a related quantitative or scientific field.
- Experience with SQL & the Python ML ecosystem - pandas, numpy, sklearn, etc.
- Experience ingesting, processing, and visualizing data sources of varying types - structured/relational and unstructured.
- Experience developing, managing, and manipulating large, complex datasets.
- Data-driven, detail-oriented individual with excellent storytelling and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously, as well as part of a team.
