We are seeking a dynamic HR Manager to play a pivotal role in establishing our manufacturing operation in Ohio from the ground up. As an integral member of our leadership team, you will have extensive autonomy to shape the direction of our human resources strategy. Your mission will be to create and execute hiring strategies that emphasize our commitment to a positive workplace culture and support our business goals. You will oversee the administration of benefits, health insurance, and compensation plans, ensuring they support our commitment to employee well-being and organizational excellence. Additionally, youll introduce practical methods to monitor and boost team performance and morale, ensuring a collaborative and engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Oversee all Human Resources functions for our Ohio manufacturing operation, including recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, and employee relations, ensuring a comprehensive approach to workforce management.

·      Partner with leadership to formulate and execute effective hiring plans, particularly focusing on a smooth ramp-up for our Ohio site, ensuring a seamless integration of new employees.

·      Oversee daily operations during the initial factory ramp-up phase, ensuring that HR practices support the sites operational needs and strategic objectives.

·      Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy, focusing on fostering a positive workplace culture and achieving organizational goals.

·      Leverage analytics tools to monitor and report on HR and business performance metrics, using insights to drive improvements in HR practices and business outcomes.

·      Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion policies and practices, communicating their importance and integrating them into all aspects of HR and business operations.

·      Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Experience

·      Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field required; Masters degree preferred.

·      A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HR Manager, ideally within the manufacturing sector

·      In-depth knowledge of HR functions such as recruiting, employee relations. Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative in a leadership role.

·      Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective employee engagement, conflict resolution, and maintaining confidentiality.

·      Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with various HRIS and payroll programs.
