As a recognized leader in providing Private Markets Solutions to clients across the globe we manage approximately $120.2 billion in discretionary assets and have oversight of an additional $782.9 in non-discretionary assets as of December 31, 2023.

The Opportunity:

Help shape the future of technology in the dynamic world of Hamilton Lane's Enterprise Technology team as a Managing Director, Chief Enterprise Architect. This is a critical leadership role that will be directly contributing to the architecture and engineering of solutions across all core technology verticals.

We're looking for a highly energetic candidate that is comfortable engineering, sharing knowledge, and providing guidance to others.

Your responsibilities will be to:
  • Roll up your sleeves to architect and develop software solutions for internal use within Hamilton Lane
  • Optimize our architecture landscape by auditing and providing insights on previously built solutions
  • Ensure operational excellence by providing architectural guidance on third-party software integration.
  • Lead efforts to architect cloud native application and optimize existing application to a scalable cloud architecture.
  • Guide and mentor members of the Enterprise Technology engineering teams
  • Be an evangelist for tech-enabling business processes and work elbow to elbow with stakeholders to ensure the right outcomes.
  • Be a thought leader - stay on top the latest and emerging trends in technology with respect to software development and infrastructure; identify and implement opportunities to leverage these within current and future technology solutions.
Your background will include:
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in any Technology, Data, or adjacent field
  • 10+ years of experience developing in .Net
  • 5+ years of experience working in Azure and AWS
  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity
  • 5+ years of experience with infrastructure & network engineering
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps and TFS
  • Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and ETL pipelines.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation (i.e. Terraform)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have a strong aptitude to learn and stay engaged in a fast-paced environment.
