You’ll be working closely with various teams to comprehend business requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical design documents.Identify, troubleshoot and resolve bugs to maintain product quality and performance.What we’re looking for:Commitment to staying up-to-date with the industry/ field and applying academic advances to solve complex business problems, and bringing them in house, and into production.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate insights into practical solutions that address real-world challenges.Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience in mentoring and guiding junior researchers or team members.Prior experience working in the national security/defense industry is desired.You can be scrappy, and can make informed decisions around prioritization, understanding the trade-offs between speed, cost, and quality.You are excited about growing a technical team that is comprised of a diverse group of people with different areas of expertise, and are excited about joining us on a journey.What we require:At minimum 7 years’ experience as a software engineer with significant programming experience in Go and Python.Masters in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, highly desired.Strong experience in Object Oriented Programming design conceptsAt least 3 years’ experience in developing solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes and their technologies (Lambda functions, SNS/SQS etc.)In-depth knowledge and proven track record in cloud software development, AI/ML technology, including deep learning, time series modeling, natural language processing, and unsupervised learning.In-depth knowledge and proven track record in Generative AI technology and Large Language Models (LLM).Strong knowledge of databases SQL, NoSQL, Time series, GraphDB etc.Experience building RESTful API servicesExperience with Azure strongly desired but not mandatory.Demonstrated experience in developing large-scale, complex models and deploying them in production systems, as well as large-scale data processing and parallel computing – GPU, multi-GPU and distributed training.Willing to work onsite in our Palo Alto, CA HQ with 10-15% travelAbout RhombusRhombus Power Inc.
