Job Description

We are seeking a Plant Engineer for a direct hire/permanent role in Griffin, GA. This brand new role will be joining a growing global organization and will be responsible for:

Prepareing project plans, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing, and/or commissioning of new project deliverables
Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources necessary to complete the project
May include preparing engineering standards, designs, and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets, and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors
Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
Supports continuous improvement/automation activities
Leads large projects or processes of complex scope, with limited oversight from the manager
Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower-level professionals
Assists in the development of the operational plan and implements for areas of assigned responsibilities
Identifies continuous improvement/automation activities

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, 8 years of related experience or Master's Degree and ,6 years of related experience
Experience leading large projects or processes of complex scope
Previous experience preparing project plans, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing, and/or commissioning of new project deliverables

What are the nice-to-have skills?
