Reporting directly to the Head of Aircraft Scheduling, the Aircraft Scheduling Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination of our aircraft to meet the diverse needs of our clients. This role demands proactive engagement with internal departments at Magellan Jets and external vendors to maintain our reputation for service excellence and quality assurance.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Aircraft Scheduling Management:

Schedule aircraft to ensure optimal utilization, maximizing Magellan's efficiency and resources.
Operational Coordination:

Work daily with operators to facilitate smooth trip transitions internally and externally.

Ensure aircraft and operators meet Magellan's safety and quality standards and cancellation policy.
Financial Administration:

Perform weekly invoice reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
Collaboration and Support:

Collaborate with sales, sourcing, and flight support departments to deliver exceptional aircraft and service to clients.

Serve as a subject matter expert on aircraft characteristics, operator network, and new products/features.

Assist in maximizing fleet operations to optimize overall efficiency.
Sales and Procurement:

Engage in sales to other operators and brokers, nurturing and developing partnerships.

Procure suitable aircraft for clients, balancing trip experience with gross profit margins.

Negotiate with operators to source aircraft for Magellan Program and Charter flight requests.
Optimization and Availability:

Optimize aircraft scheduling to maximize operations and utility.

Be responsibly available during on-call hours as per the roster system
Required Skills/Abilities:

Basic Accounting Knowledge:

Understanding of fundamental accounting principles to assist in financial tasks such as invoice reconciliation.
