The ideal candidate must be in the Aurora, CO, area. This role is onsite.

As a Program Manager, you will manage large-sized projects in complex organizations crossing multiple business units that have stakeholders with diverse and conflicting needs, requiring complex reporting and communication at the agency and executive levels.
These functions include:
  • Ability to visualize and articulate complex concepts and solve complex problems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Integrative Acquisition Environment and DOD acquisition system policies and procedures.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information, design, and test solutions to problems, and create action plans to solve them.
  • Exceptional knowledge of all phases of the acquisition process, contracting principles, laws, and procedures.
  • Providing expert technical advice, staff coordination, and consultation to formulate guidelines, implement new developments, and provide expert interpretation.
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to give formal presentations to diverse audiences.

You will be:
  • Self-motivated, quick, and assertive.
  • Highly detailed oriented and organized, with exceptional time management skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and comfortable with dynamic environments' change and complexity.

Required Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a major in any field.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in direct Federal procurement in the GS-1102 series or equivalent capacity.
  • Five (5) years of experience with DoD administrative tasks.
  • Specific knowledge of FAR and DFARS Parts 15.4, 30, 31 and 32.
  • Knowledge of the Integrative Acquisition Environment, DOD acquisition system, and the DOD procurement Data Standard.
  • Experience implementing acquisition systems, preferably a contract writing system.
  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft suite of applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree (ten years of experience may be substituted with an Advanced Degree)
Base compensation range and benefits:
$115,000 to $155,000 - Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and location.
