In this role you will work with our experienced Infrastructure engineers and architects to learn how to consult, architect, engineer and secure comprehensive Information Technology infrastructures, both on-prem and cloud, for both SMB and enterprise organizations.
**Responsibilities:**
* Leverage in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity and compliance best practices to achieve client goals and objectives
* Apply thoughtful leadership and provide advice on multiple technologies that shape the long-term direction of a clients IT infrastructure
* Consult, develop, and engineer strategies and solutions to meet client objectives and needs in their IT infrastructure environment
* Produce documentation and convey best practices to clients
* Remain abreast of current and next gen IT technologies and be motivated to seek new knowledge and innovate methods across disciplines
* Provide internal thought leadership on IT infrastructure technologies
* Using analytical thought and judgment to solve most complex or unique problems
* Develop the framework and the supporting infrastructure to build common reusable components for core infrastructure solutions
* When client concerns arise, adopt a sense of urgency for problem resolution and leverage any/all external resources to help solve the issue

* Ability and motivation to learn complex IT Infrastructure, cybersecurity and compliance processes on the job
* Ability to complete Affirma IT Infrastructure apprenticeship curriculum, including but not limited to earning industry-standard IT certifications following on-the-job training and self-study
* Demonstrate proficiency to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to various levels of management, and technical and non-technical personnel
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with local and remote co-workers
* Desire to find better/faster ways of achieving desired outcomes
