Plant Controller

Jefferson Wells is looking for an experiencedPlant Controller in Williams, CA for one of our clients. You will partner closely with the Plant Manager and team to effectively manage and control the finances for the manufacturing plant. These responsibilities will include general accounting, cost accounting, business analysis, financial reporting and budget process support.This is a full-time, 40 hour a week permanent hire with our client on-site.
Responsibilities :
- Manage monthly financial close and ensure alignment with the corporate consolidation process.
- Provide internal audit function and assure key monthly reconciliations are completed and analyzed.
- Manage overall financial control and accounting operations of the plant, including cost accounting, payable & receivables
- Provide analytical and strong business process support to plant operations.
- Provide an accurate and timely forecast for the business.
- Manage internal reporting process for assigned facility.
- Manage external audit relationships at the plant level.
- Develop, maintain and monitor internal controls.
- Ensure accuracy of the physical inventory.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts and provide recommendations.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Controller or Cost Manager in Manufacturing environment with multiple segments
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or related field
- CMA, CPA or MBA preferred
- Operational internal controls implementation experience, required
- Salary based on experience of $100K to $150K based on experience
