ABOUT ACCEL ENTERTAINMENT Accel Entertainment is the largest Gaming Terminal Operator in the country. We provide slot machines, redemption terminals, and amusement devices (pool tables, juke boxes, dart boards, etc.) to bars, restaurants, convenience stores, truck stops, and fraternal and veteran establishments across the country. Our focus is providing unmatched customer support, guidance, and compliance expertise so our partner establishments can grow their businesses and generate more revenue. SUMMARY The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, supporting the compliance needs of the Human Resources department, ensuring contracts, reporting, and other required documents are timely processed; finalizing job descriptions and completing employee status changes in the Human Resources Information System (“HRIS”), as well as assisting in other areas as needed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and update the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data and process personnel transactions (new hires, terminations, job changes, etc.) Ensure the Human Resources team is compliant with federal and state regulations, employment law, and proper licensing requirements Generate ad hoc, monthly, and annual reports for governmental entities and Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams Facilitate the process for Sales Agent registration and serve as the backup contact for IGB licensing registration Ensure proper execution and maintenance of all employee agreements including employment, commission, and incentive agreements Facilitate the creation, approval, execution, and filing of employee documentation Administer all Department of Transportation (DOT) registrations and manage necessary filing and tracking of information Ensure execution and completion of compliance training by partnering with the IT, Legal, and Compliance departments Manage the notification, documentation, and follow through of employee vehicle violations Update and implement policy changes and track employee acknowledgments Process benefits invoices and coordinate payments with Accounts Payable Serve as the compliance liaison for Human Resources and maintain a high level of integrity Conduct general office duties and support other areas of the Human Resources department, as needed QUALIFICATIONS 1-2 years of relevant HR or compliance experience preferred Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow prepare extensive reports and collaborate well inter-departmentally Proficient in Microsoft Suites (highly proficient in Excel preferred) + familiarity with HRIS (ADP or Workday preferred) Ability to be successful in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and maintain a high-level of accuracy Self-starter, highly responsive, and detail oriented Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all business matters Ability to work well independently and in team settings
