About the Position:

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop design specifications for various project stages to communicate design basis and project execution blueprint.
- Conduct calculations including hydraulics, heat and mass balances, heat transfer, instrumentation/equipment sizing, safety relief system sizing, etc.
- Create PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment/instrument datasheets.
- Assist in managing project planning and front-end engineering stages.
- Provide support during project execution and detailed engineering phases.
- Utilize process design expertise to: conduct proof of concept checks; perform cold eyes reviews of designs; implement technical concepts into plant operations; collaborate with engineering specialists, project engineers, and cost estimators.
- Engage in global networks aimed at enhancing the development process and exchanging process design insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and 4+ years process engineering experience required.
- Experience utilizing industry design, engineering and process safety standards (i.e., ASME, API).
- Knowledge of project development and execution process; specifically stage/gate process a plus.
- Attention to detail; clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- PE, PMP, MBA a plus.
