The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for providing sales leadership and management of opportunities and serving as a primary point of contact for regional sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have total responsibility of managing sales and agents in the territory, to achieve quotas, and goals. This position will report to the Director of Sales and is located in Lancaster, PA.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate with all support sales groups within the company;
Analyze sales data to determine sales strategy for the territory;
Promote and execute corporate sales and marketing plans as determined by the company;
Understand customer requirements and specifications in the process of preparing a quotation;
Review product design and adapt to customer needs in cooperation with R&D;
Visit customers as needed;
Introduce and present Pelletron’s program and capabilities to customers;
Plan and implement the quantitative objectives within budget guidelines;
Maintain or seek permanent contact with potential customers, in order to maintain and develop solid customer relationships with key customer base;
Generate order confirmations and provide them to engineering;
Stay abreast of customer, market and technology trends as they relate to current and future business opportunities;
Continuously analyze, observe, and monitor the competition to fully understand and articulate the differences between competitors;
Develop and support marketing strategies and advertising campaigns in coordination with marketing and management;
