Position Summary: The Senior Accountant is responsible for various finance, compliance and accounting duties. They will develop effective partnerships with internal departments. They will be adept at operating in high-volume, deadline-driven environments and thrive in an entrepreneurial and rapidly evolving atmosphere. Essential Functions: Prepare, analyze and record entries in the general ledger

Maintain and improve reporting within the various accounting and payroll systems

Administer the time allocation system and analyze data for accuracy and completeness

Work closely with the human resources team to monitor and report data inconsistencies

Prepare monthly accruals and account reconciliations

Maintain best-in-class quality control, ensuring on-time delivery and report accuracy while identifying opportunities for data quality improvement

Provide assistance during annual audits

Assist with developing, implementing and overseeing compliance programs and policies

Conduct special projects, prepare ad hoc reports and other services at the request of management

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

3 - 5 years related experience

Candidate must be proficient in various software packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience recording and/or processing payroll a plus

Yardi and/or Workday experience a plus

Residential real estate / property management experience a plus

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to accuracy and detail required

Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-growing environment
