Sovereign Consulting Inc. is seeking a full-time Mid-Level Environmental / Civil Engineer or Geologist with 5-7 years of experience for our Holyoke, MA location. Sovereign Consulting Inc. is an environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Provide field and office support of site investigations involving oversight of environmental drilling, well installation and soil sampling
Provide construction, excavation and dredging quality control and/or health and safety oversight
Complete Operations & Maintenance activities for remedial systems as needed
Assist with technical report preparation of Massachusetts Contingency Plan and ASTM documents including data input and interpretation
Ability to work in a team environment
Handle other related duties assigned; and
Adherence to Sovereign Consulting Inc. health and safety procedures in all field related activities
Requirements:
5-7 years of related experience is required
A Bachelors or Masters degree in civil or environmental or geology engineering
Desire to obtain PE or PG certification
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification
OSHA 30-hr Construction or General Industry certification, a plus
USACE Contractor Quality Control Training or ability to be trained
Demonstrated technical writing skills
Proficiency with Microsoft office, Adobe, MassGIS and CAD a plus
Must have excellent communication, analytical, field sampling skills
Must have a good driving record and be able to dive a company vehicle

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
