Sovereign Consulting Inc. is seeking a full-time Mid-Level Environmental / Civil Engineer or Geologist with 5-7 years of experience for our Holyoke, MA location. Sovereign Consulting Inc. is an environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ. Responsibilities: Provide field and office support of site investigations involving oversight of environmental drilling, well installation and soil sampling Support environmental remediation design tasks, including soil and groundwater remediation design Provide construction, excavation and dredging quality control and/or health and safety oversight Complete Operations & Maintenance activities for remedial systems as needed Assist with technical report preparation of Massachusetts Contingency Plan and ASTM documents including data input and interpretation Ability to work in a team environment Handle other related duties assigned; and Adherence to Sovereign Consulting Inc. health and safety procedures in all field related activities Requirements: 5-7 years of related experience is required A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil or environmental or geology engineering Desire to obtain PE or PG certification OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification OSHA 30-hr Construction or General Industry certification, a plus USACE Contractor Quality Control Training or ability to be trained Demonstrated technical writing skills Proficiency with Microsoft office, Adobe, MassGIS and CAD a plus Must have excellent communication, analytical, field sampling skills Must have a good driving record and be able to dive a company vehicle

Employment at Sovereign is contingent upon the results of a Drug & Alcohol screening test. Candidates must present documentation that confirms identity and eligibility for employment in the United States. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
