The Recruitment Specialist is an integral part of the HR team working cross-functionally to contribute to and improve the recruitment process. This role will focus on new employee experience to ensure a positive, friendly, organized and timely onboarding process. This will include contingent job offers, pre-employment appointments and paperwork, as well as candidate communication, auditing, data entry, and other recruitment responsibilities.

Experience

Required: Two years experience in a Human Resource Department or in an area with a great deal of public contact.

Preferred: Recruiting experience in the healthcare industry.

Essential

Responsible for the onboarding function of all candidates from job offer acceptance to new hire orientation. Develop and maintain new hire and transfer statistics, including tracking and scheduling New Hire Orientations. Prepare reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the Recruiting department.

Coordinates applicant process by scheduling for testing and interviews. Scores pre-employment survey and forwards behavioral based interview results and guide to hiring manager. Corresponds with the candidates for required credentials to initiate the pre-hire process. Verifies licensure status for professional applicants as assigned. Obtains copy of license when possible. Extends contingent job offers and communicates acceptances/declinations with hiring manager and recruiter. Assist in writing and forwarding job offer packages. Initiates, monitors and closes third party background screenings. Responsible for appropriate follow-up of each element of background screenings within time frames established. Follow-up with appropriate vendors/candidates/recruiter/manager of stages of process and actions needed. Preparation and tracking of all required new hire paperwork. Facilitates coordination of pre-employment appointments and prepares new hire orientation notification. May have recruitment responsibility for a specified set of positions, which includes posting approved requisitions, review of applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements and conducting prescreening interviews. Prepares and updates new hire and employment records related to hiring and transferring by processing changes in a timely manner. Maintain and updates all pertinent applicant data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) as well as e-folders. Create and maintain inventory of recruitment marketing materials. Coordinates advertisement function for recruitment, as needed. Acts a liaison to ad agency to assure ads are placed on time. Reconciles quote to invoice to assure accuracy. Places ads online as assigned. Assists in coordinating any programs that provide support to the employment function. This includes job/career fairs, events, tours and other recruitment programs. Attend career fairs and events for recruiting and organizational awareness. May arrange travel or lodging accommodations for applicants and new hires, if needed. Pay Range

$22.48 -$33.72
