We are partnering with a commercial printing company in their search for a QA Supervisor/Manager. Located in the Ronkonkoma area, the ideal candidate will come with 4+ years of previous quality assurance and supervisory experience.

Job ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of the Quality Assurance (QA) program, ensuring adherence to established procedures and industry best practices.

Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QA system aligned with ISO 9001 requirements.

Conduct regular internal audits of production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Lead the QA team in monitoring print quality, material integrity, and label functionality throughout the entire production cycle.

Analyze quality control data, identify trends, and implement preventative measures to minimize errors and defects.

Liaise with production, sales, and customer service departments to ensure clear communication and alignment on quality standards.

Prepare and maintain all necessary QA documentation, including inspection reports, corrective action plans, and customer complaints.

Train and develop the QA team on quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and ISO 9001 standards.

Lead the company through the preparation and successful completion of ISO 9001 audits.

QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in a QA role within the printing industry.

Proven understanding and experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various departments.

Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to achieving the highest quality standards.

Experience with quality control software and data analysis tools a plus.
