Overview:
The Business Analyst (BA) will work on multiple programs and systems simultaneously for the *** Digital Technology (DT) Safety & Security Team. The BA will interact with all members of the project team, including architects, system analysts, project managers, developers, quality control leadership, and S&S Senior Leadership.
Skills/Experience:
Responsibilities:
- Understand the business needs of *** Safety, Corporate Security, and *** Police (APD).
- Develop strategies to extract functional business requirements from business units.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions/meetings with functional business subject matter experts.
- Document all business, functional, and technical requirements for S&S project teams, including but not limited to Requirements Specification, Use Cases, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Develop detailed process documentation documenting current and future state business and technical processes.
- Become proficient with Lead BA related PMLP delivery documentation.
- Participate in weekly meetings with project and S&S teams.
- Provide functional testing surge support with development teams as needed or required.
- Collaborative and proactive personality.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience documenting functional and technical business requirements.
- Demonstrated track record of effective problem-solving.
- Demonstrated experience documenting system functional and technical requirements.
- Strong oral, verbal, and written communication skills.
- East Coast Candidates Only.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, or related field.
