What You Will Do: •
  • Complete all ship/confirm transactions into SAP in a timely manner.
  • Respond to carrier requests (via phone or electronically) for shipment tracking and/or tracing and communicate any delays to order originators.
  • Enter CHEP Pallets Transfer via CHEP Website
  • Communicate with carriers, coordinating loads for internal/external customers
  • PGI completed ship orders, printing BOL's, invoices, and other shipping documents as necessary.
  • Enter all receiving transactions into SAP in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Compile data for management analysis on an as needed basis.
  • Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies via research in SAP.
  • Maintain files for shipping and receiving daily.
  • Prepare necessary backorder and/or other communications to internal and external customers on an as needed basis (order status, timing, etc.).
  • Pull, Audit, and/or receive orders as necessary as directed by Shift Leaders.
Position Details:
  • Plant location: Winston-Salem US66, North Carolina
  • Work week and shift: 3rd Shift 10:00 P.M. - 6:30 A.M. OT as needed
  • Compensation package offered: $22.50
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Two or more years' experience in shipping, receiving, and/or inventory control desired
  • Previous forklift operating experience or willing to train
  • SAP experience desired but not necessary if requisite system experience is present
  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong keyboarding/computer experience
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload
  • Ability to multi-task and direct drivers
  • SAP experience
