Position Summary:

Joining our client's esteemed team, the Mechanical Design Engineer will contribute to the development and enhancement of innovative products tailored for electric utility, telecommunications, and civil markets. This role offers opportunities for growth and development, catering to entry-level to senior engineers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and engineer cutting-edge products, focusing on enhancing efficiency, safety, and performance.
  2. Utilize engineering techniques, simulations, and testing to ensure the functionality, durability, and manufacturability of designed components.
  3. Contribute to the prototype and development phases of new products, from concept to market release.
  4. Address technical challenges and provide solutions for product improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
  5. Support sales personnel by offering technical expertise and assistance with customer inquiries.

Experience and Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  2. Entry-level to senior-level experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing environment.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for 3D modeling and design.
  2. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  3. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  4. Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
  5. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
