We are seeking a performance?driven Senior Account Manager to enhance our commercial presence in pediatric endocrinology, orthopedics, and genetics. Our integrated commercial team solidifies our presence worldwide and is rapidly expanding across regions. Job Summary This role requires strategic problem?solving, high business acumen and experience in pediatric endocrinology and rare disease markets. The ideal candidate has experience launching first?in?class therapies and building new therapeutic markets. Responsibilities Achieve area sales objectives, market penetration, new patient starts, and revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis. Drive demand through clinical selling and education to referring and treating healthcare providers focusing on skeletal conditions, including cold calling key accounts. Implement an effective business plan to guide strategy, tactics and track progress. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders including Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Orthopedics, Genetics, and key referring physicians. Actively participate in disease awareness efforts and burden/natural history of disease through professional society meetings. Collaborate with other members of the Skeletal Dysplasia brand team and facilitate appropriate collaboration with MSLs, Market Access team, Compliance and other internal stakeholders. Become an expert in clinical data and verbally convey its significance to all stakeholders. Provide business insights to internal partners regarding the clinical practices of assigned accounts. Act in compliance within a highly regulated industry, adhering to all company policies, training, and guidelines. Work effectively in ambiguity and remain agile as organizational needs evolve. Scope Must be able to work some evenings and weekends for educational events (in person and virtual). Depending on geography, manage a multi?state territory with diverse customer base. Overnight travel required (40%60% depending on geography and business needs). Advanced virtual skillset required to balance travel demands with virtual interactions. Requirements At least five years of sales experience in biotech/rare disease involving specialty products that are technically challenging and first?in?class. Experience with office?based selling in a complex referral model. Experience working in a field?team model with clinical support and reimbursement hub. Strong preference for experience in Pediatric Endocrinology or Pediatric Orthopedics. Experience in new product launches, preferably with first?in?class products. Experience working directly with patients/families and managing long sales cycles. The territory will include Northern California including the Bay Area. This is a remote position.
