We're Carolina Family Estate Planning, a forward-thinking law firm specializing in estate and long-term care planning. We're seeking an Estate Planning Legal Assistant who is proactive, client-centered, and committed to excellence. What You'll Do

As an Estate Planning Legal Assistant, you'll work closely with clients, team members, and leadership to ensure a seamless estate planning process. Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting with clients in person and virtually to gather accurate information and assist throughout their journey.
  • Reviewing active matters weekly to ensure timelines and deadlines are met.
  • Managing sensitive financial documents and organizing them for clients' estate planning goals.
  • Conducting signing meetings and other key client interactions.
  • Supporting the Legal Team with funding and administrative tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate records, managing calendars, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Providing backup support for the Administrative Assistant when needed.
  • Occasionally attending after-hours workshops as a witness or notary.

Education and Experience
  • At least 1 year of client-facing experience in a law firm or professional services setting.
  • An associate degree or higher (preferred) OR equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in virtual technology and software, such as Zoom, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
  • North Carolina Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain it).
