JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our employee-owned and multi-disciplined team ofengineering and design professionals is looking for a SeniorProfessional Electrical Engineer who has thorough knowledge of technicaldesign standards and requirements for industrial facility and siteelectrical systems. As a member of our team, you will work alongsideArchitectural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structuralprofessionals to provide an array of services for a number of uniqueindustrial projects throughout the country. In this position, you willbe responsible for scoping the electrical engineering portions ofprojects and leading the design efforts associated with the projects,along with developing detailed drawings, which will include site plans,power/signal/lighting plans, equipment layouts, one-lines, industrialcontrols and control systems, assessments, and reports. You will alsoassist with construction administration responsibilities includinginterpreting plans, observing construction operations, and maintainingprogress reports to verify construction conforms to plans,specifications, and the construction schedule. Given your knowledge andexpertise, you will have the opportunity to become a mentor by sharingyour knowledge and professional experiences to further develop lessexperienced team members who will work alongside of you. In addition,you will lead teams of engineering and design professionals and beresponsible for all technical, quality, financial, and safety aspectsfrom conception through construction. With our \"Seller-Doer\" approachto business development, you will collaborate with the electrical groupmanagement team and the Vice President of Facilities EngineeringServices to further advance our services by assisting with thedevelopment of proposals, management of client relations andexpectations, opportunity tracking, and preparation / delivery of clientpresentations. For this opportunity we are seeking an experiencedprofessional who resides within a regular commuting distance of one ofour offices or who resides within close proximity to a commercialairport and has the ability to travel to the assigned office and/orclient / project locations as requested. RequiredQualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering orElectrical Engineering Technology. Professional Engineer in the State ofMinnesota or Illinois. Ten to fifteen years of progressive technicaldesign experience with a primary emphasis on industrial facility / sitepower distribution, lighting, and control / signal systems.
