The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. They will also assist with audit and tax functions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and maintain accurate financial reporting.

Description
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position
- Maintain accurate and complete general ledger accounts and ensure transactions are properly recorded
- Oversee month-end close processes and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure financial information is accurate and timely
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of new accounting software and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and analysis
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, including experience in financial reporting and month-end close processes
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, preferred
