  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction project from start to finish according to
  • Project schedule, specifications and budget
  • Oversees Air Liquides construction site, general contractors to ensure a high level of quality and safety
  • Work with ASU operations to review and and ensure Safe Work Permits are provided in a timely manner
  • Hold a daily safety/work meeting every morning, coordinate site activities amongst all contractors and plant personnel
  • Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices
  • Ensure quality workmanship and quality inspections are conducted. Retain and maintain a file of test and inspection reports
  • Identify, mitigate, and track construction issues
  • Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements
  • Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, ensuring that the work environment is acceptable and that tools and equipment are in good working condition
  • Review and approve Time & Material sheets, as applicable
  • Review change orders to ensure accuracy, and submit to Project Manager for approval
  • Update Issue-For-Construction P&IDs & other project drawings/documents
  • Materials management: understanding materials and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
  • Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions
  • Conduct Pre-Start up inspections and maintain Pre-Start-up Checklists
  • Reports the status of projects to Management via weekly construction reports
