Job Summary:

Old Tucson Entertainment is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. The Pizza Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas, adhering to our recipes and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cooking, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for consistently delivering delicious pizzas. Our team is dedicated to quality food, exceptional customer service, and creating memorable dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be reliable, proficient, and attentive, with excellent communication and time management skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes and standards.
• Assemble and cook pizzas in ovens, ensuring consistency in quality and taste.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including pizza prep stations and ovens.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Assist with general kitchen duties, such as dishwashing, cleaning, and stocking supplies.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure pizzas are cooked to the desired standards.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards.
• Implement portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maintain consistency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Use proper protective equipment and safe practices when handling food and operating kitchen equipment.
• Adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and customer needs, ensuring efficient and effective kitchen operations.
• Flexibly manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with other kitchen and food preparation tasks as needed, including catering and special events.
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary training or certification is a plus.
• At least 1-year prior experience as a pizza cook or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of pizza preparation techniques and equipment operation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Lift and move heavy ingredients and supplies, at least 50 lbs.

• Work primarily in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, flames, and cooking equipment.
• Navigate and work in crowded and noisy conditions typical of a busy theme park.
• Ability to work in varying levels of lighting and temperature conditions.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods and on uneven ground.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing environmental conditions and work demands.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday work required.
