Job Opening: Electrical Expert Engineer To support its expanding activities, DEME Concessions is looking to strengthen its team with an Electrical Expert Engineer. The Electrical Expert Engineer is responsible for providing electrical project support and services from his/her expertise throughout the different development phases of the Green Hydrogen market and be directly involved with multidisciplinary project development teams for projects around the world.

The responsibilities of the Electrical Expert Engineer include:

Provide electrical project support and services from his/her expertise throughout the different development phases of Green Hydrogen projects.

With profound technical knowledge, develop tender packages and liaise with suppliers.

Review detailed engineering reports, procedures, manuals, and method statements.

Liaise with different stakeholders within the development team and external stakeholders (e.g., national grid operators) about the interfaces, requirements, simulations.

Analyze data, optimize on jointly defined criteria, perform simplified modeling.

Work alongside the Technical and Project team.

Develop, engineer with Owner’s Engineers, Workstream leaders’ technology packages.

Co-work with partners in integrated teams.

Requirements for the position:

Master’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant work experience.

Profound technical knowledge about high voltage electrical networks and related issues, grid simulations, transmission lines, grid connections, transformer stations, solar plants design, wind park design, and energy yield calculations.

Passionate about renewable energy development.

Team player with an eye for detail and able to work in a structured way.

Good communicator, fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading).

Additional qualities:

Able to adhere to planning and strict deadlines.

Capable of switching quickly between high-level concept comparison and deep-diving into calculations to substantiate the concept selection.

Experience with grid simulation software.

Willingness to work in an international environment.

Contractual mindset and commercial skills, capable of evaluating detailed offers.

Able to lead a team but also work independently.

Collaborating skills to reach a global optimum.

Available for assignments abroad.
