Per Diem Spanish Speaking Patient Care CoordinatorJob Location: Jersey City, NJ.Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 Contract.Pay Rate: CNA, CMA, Phlebotomists, Paramedics $30/hr; LPN $35/hr.Schedule: Starting Jun 10, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, every other week schedule.Full DescriptionVitalCheck Wellness is seeking a committed and compassionate bilingual Spanish speaking Patient Care Coordinator with experience in phlebotomy to assist patients in making referral appointments and perform skilled specimen collections for employees at a private business in Jersey City, NJ. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create a supportive environment. Will consider an LPN, Phlebotomist, or a CNA/ MA and Paramedic with phlebotomy experience (Phlebotomy certificate preferred).Responsibilities:Record patient information, including insurance information, and utilize electronic health records.Discuss and consult health history, diagnosis, and needs with patients.Educate patient on necessary steps for follow up care.Work with insurance companies, assisting with billing and coding. Obtain pre-approval for treatment.Establish and maintain relationships with service providers.Maintain professionalism and treat patients with respect.Perform/collect specimens accurately (phlebotomy).Provide excellent customer service to patients.Collect data and create spreadsheets.Requirements:Proven experience as a patient care coordinator/receptionist/front desk/ or other related medical scheduling experience. Familiarity with EMR system is a plus.Must have phlebotomy experience. Certified phlebotomist preferred.Valid license/certification.Spanish speaking preferred. Customer service-oriented and have great bedside manner.Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.Comfortable working independently or with little to no supervisionMust be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster shot.Must bring own laptop/tablet to work.Must be able to commute toJersey City, NJ.About VitalCheck WellnessVitalCheck Wellness is a fast-growing healthcare company with presence in the United States, Asia and Europe.
