Practice Area Profile What You'll Do BCG is looking for an expert at the Partner & Associate Director level withsignificant experience in Large Capital Project Management. In this role, you will be primarily client-facing, helping lead teams andclients on Large Capital Project Management cases. As an Expert, you willprovide input to case teams and clients on an individual contributor basis,support the business development process, and participate in developingintellectual property (publishing articles, staying abreast of trends andcompany developments). The Expert Consulting Track (ECT) is vital to BCG's ability tosuccessfully meet our clients' demand for deep expertise and advancedtechnical capabilities. Experts deliver next-level impact for BCG's mostcomplex and cutting-edge client challenges. Experts focus on developingBCG's thought leadership, commercial capabilities, and intellectualproperty assets; and their work is essential to our delivery model. Workingalongside our traditional and specialty consultants to bring the 'best ofBCG' to our clients, Experts come from diverse backgrounds, withexpertise often gained outside of BCG in industry, academia, orspecialized con What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications) Ideal candidates will have at least 15 years of experience in LCPMoperations, including managing infrastructure projects, such as airportexpansions, rail, road, or tunnel projects in a program manager orproject manager role. We're looking for leaders who have directed majorprojects, either as head of the owner's team or as the lead contractor,with experience in project management across PMC, DB, or EPCM firms. Thisexperience should cover the full project lifecycle, from the initial conceptand detailed design phases through procurement, construction, andcommissioning Key qualifications and experience include: Managing projects with a total cost exceeding $500 million (adjusted totoday's financial standards). Deep understanding and practical knowledge of critical project deliveryaspects, including but not limited to: Delivery strategy, including roles and headcount of the owner team andPMC-like contractor Contracting strategy and scope packaging Effective ways of working (e.g., integrated teams, co-location, Obeyarooms, etc) Procurement de-risking and cost management Established network with LCPM industry participants Bachelor degree in Engineering or Science from leading undergraduate programpreferred FOR U.S. APPLICANTS:Boston Consulting Group ("BCG") is an Equal Opportunity/AffirmativeAction employer.
