The Opportunity - Electrical Estimator

We are seeking an engaging, detailed oriented team member for the Electrical Estimatorposition

As an Electrical Estimator, you will evaluate project bid documents, develop a complete scope of work, and produce a thorough and accurate proposal for submission to our client. We are seeking an estimator with a positive attitude, ability to work in a team, strong attention to detail and must possess excellent customer service skills.

Ideal Electrical Estimator Candidates:
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Able to multi-task
  • Have at least 2 or more years of experience estimating
  • Have previously worked in the field and understand means and methods of electrical work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of NEC Electric code
  • Are persistent with follow up
  • Strong communication skills
  • Required to have reliable transportation and valid drivers license with an -insurable driving record
  • Strong attention to detail regarding attire and presence
  • Keeps safety as top priority
Exceptional Electrical Estimator Candidates:
  • Have 4 or more years of experience as an estimator
  • Design/Build experience
  • Love bringing innovative solutions to light
  • Have a strong sense of urgency and follow up
  • Have experience with on screen take-off
  • Have experience using McCormick Systems Software or similar software
