Are you a hard-working individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a cook at our busy quick service restaurant. We need someone who can handle preparing food stations, cooking a high-volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed. Our ideal candidate has food industry experience, preferably in fast food, quick service, or fast casual restaurants, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities

•Wash, cut, dice, chop, and slice food items to stock prep stations
•Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management
•Finish each shift by sweeping the floor, mopping, cleaning countertops, and wiping down any other surfaces that were used
•Control the grill and cook the food in accordance with the directions on the meal order slips or in verbal instructions
•Use thermometers to check that food has reached an appropriate temperature before serving it

Qualifications

•Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
•Previous experience working in fast food or quick service restaurant is preferred
•Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
•Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements
•Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
