Senior Financial Analyst

Type: Direct Hire (in office with some flexibility as needed)

Pay: Up to $109 plus bonus DOE, full benefits

Location: Lexington, KY (relocation package provided)

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a leading global manufacturer and retailer of bedding products, we are dedicated to improving the sleep of people worldwide. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our financial planning and analysis efforts, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:

  1. Assist in the preparation of the monthly forecast and annual budget, utilizing a "bottom-up" approach.
  2. Conduct detailed analyses of key performance indicators to monitor the company's financial health and identify trends.
  3. Generate ad hoc reports to evaluate business trends and compare actual results with forecast and budget.
  4. Evaluate daily and weekly metrics to ensure favorable outcomes by month-end.
  5. Proactively develop projects to improve forecast accuracy, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance efficiency.
  6. Support the maintenance and evolution of planning processes, including reporting and explaining variances.
  7. Prepare management reporting packages on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to manage expenses and achieve financial targets.
  9. Identify trends in product, market segments, and key customers to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  10. Drive action by improving standard reporting methods as requested.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of the Senior Financial Analyst:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting.
  2. Minimum of 3+ years of related experience.
  3. Strong technical skills and knowledge of financial statements, including the P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows and FP&A understanding(high level)
  4. Expertise in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel; experience with Power BI is desirable.
