The Benefits Manager will oversee all health and welfare benefits programs within the company. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive benefits package that caters to both employer and employee needs. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company objectives, staying updated on industry changes, and maintaining effective communication channels.

Responsibilities of the Benefits Manager:

  • Develop and manage employee benefits package, covering health, life, disability, and wellness plans.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Foster relationships with external vendors and providers to optimize cost efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on benefits enrollment and usage.
  • Handle day-to-day benefits administration, including billing, enrollment, and adjustments.
  • Create and distribute employee communications related to benefits.
  • Monitor employee eligibility in line with company guidelines.
  • Address inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve conflicts promptly.
  • Present benefits-related data and trends to senior leadership.
Requirements and Qualifications of the Benefits Manager:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant benefits management experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employee benefits programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities.
