Qualifications: Proficiency and experience in the development of semiconductor devices, particularly those utilizing Silicon Carbide. Competence in both process engineering and device design within high-volume semiconductor wafer fabs. Comprehensive understanding of power semiconductor device physics and theory. Familiarity with device reliability principles. Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Prior experience with SiC Power Devices is advantageous, though not mandatory. Familiarity with techniques for rapid product development and achieving quick time-to-market. Experience in device testing and characterization. Contribution to patent disclosures is highly desirable. Master’s degree with 3-4 years of experience in Power Semiconductor or PhD with 1-2 years of experience in Power Semiconductor.

Responsibilities: Designing layout for MOSFET and Diode. Creating Spice models for MOSFET and Diode. Developing new cell designs to facilitate the advancement of power devices. Conducting failure analysis using 2D/3D TCAD simulation tools. Collaborating with the SiC Device Development Team to produce state-of-the-art, high voltage SiC Diodes and SiC MOSFETs at volume production levels. Ensuring device reliability, particularly concerning SiC MOS gate oxide, and assessing the impact of design and device screening on reliability. Managing Diode and MOSFET die sales. Defining and monitoring CDs and process control monitor data in the foundry, correlating it with material parameters and wafer level performance data. Providing technical insights on device performance, product quality, and yields. Making technical contributions to projects with time-sensitive market entry requirements. Staying informed about competitors’ devices and technologies. Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key wafer fab vendors and assembly subcontractors. Leading technical project engineering efforts to establish the company as a leader in both technology and market presence, transitioning from a startup to an industry leader.
